Forward Healthcare LLC (“Forward Healthcare”) is providing notice of a data breach that involved some personal information.

On December 20, 2023, Forward Healthcare received notification from its vendor Philips Respironics regarding unauthorized access to the Care Orchestrator and Encore Anywhere software solutions.  An unknown third party gained access to the Philips Respironics software solutions as part of the MOVEit Transfer Security Incident.

This unauthorized access affected some Forward Healthcare patients’ personal health information, also known as PHI.  Philips Respironics took immediate action to mitigate the incident, by securing their systems and completing an analysis that confirmed the MOVEit file transfer security incident that occurred on May 31, 2023, affected their software solutions.

Based on the investigation, it was determined that information potentially accessed in the security incident may have included personal and medical information.

Forward Healthcare takes the safeguarding of personal information seriously and regrets any concern this may cause. Forward Healthcare is notifying those individuals whose information may have been accessed.
