IDTF studies are useful for both employers and healthcare providers looking to grow their sleep disorder testing program. They are typically more cost-effective than hospital studies, as well as providing faster turnaround times.
They also provide greater convenience to patients, who won’t have to worry about parking or the hospital admissions process.
It’s worth checking with your insurance provider. If they don’t provide coverage for a hospital sleep study, they may provide it for an IDTF.
